Working with Matt Smith Construction – Certified Builders 


Building and renovating your home should be fun – and as stress-free as possible. Here’s how we make sure that’s the experience you have.


Our partnership & our approach

1.  Consultation and budgeting


Once we have your details, you’ll sit down with Matt to discuss your budget and the big goals for your building project.

2.  Planning and designing


We’ll work with you and our architect partner to turn your ideas into a design plan and draw up initial sketches. We’ll discuss design, style and finishing options, and find a way to get the look and feel you’re after within your budget.

Once plans are finalised, we’ll work out a precise build cost and submit the drawings to council for consent.

3.  It’s building time!



Once plans have been approved, we get to work laying the foundations. Our director, Matt, will be your go-to person for regular updates. He’ll manage subcontractors, design changes and council requirements, and visit your new-home site regularly to check progress.  

4.  Move-in day ready



The best part is handing over the keys to your new home. We’ll do one final check to make sure everything is in order, so your home is ready to be lived in.
